Attention Discworld Artists!
How would you like to see your artwork on the front of this year's
primary publication from the Discworld Convention - the Convention
programme book? Previously the cover art has been provided by
established Discworld artists such as Graham Higgins but this year we
would like offer this opportunity to the fan community.
The prize is a framed print of your work signed by Terry plus you will
see your artwork on the front cover of the Convention programme book.
I'm sure we can also arrange to have the guests sign their entries to
the book bearing your artwork! If for any reason you were not able to
attend the Convention we will of course send the print and programme
book to you.
If you would like to enter your picture needs to equate to A4 size with
a minimum of 300dpi, colour values CMYK. The file should be in .tiff
format. Entries should be sent to:
chronicle [at] dwcon.org (this is the Chronicle editor address).
Questions regarding format and technical details should be addressed to
Jenny:
dwcon [at] clanwilliam.net.
The closing date for entries is the 30th May, 2006.
The Copyright bit:
By entering this competition, you agree to allow us to use your work for
the Discworld Convention, including, but not limited to, the Convention
programme book. All relevant copyrights remain with you. Discworld
itself of course remains the copyright of Terry & Lynn Pratchett.

Hmmm, sounds interesting, but can I just ask if it's obligatory to be a
vertical entry, as I usually work on much bigger A3 sheets, and a
horizontal pic' might give me a bit more leeway on A4?
